the voyager is great. i love everything about it. the only problems that i have had would be that it turns off unexpectedly sometimes. but other than that, its the shit. iphone can kiss my ass. lol i love th voyager i dont know what i would do without it. iphone is too expensive. i had one before and it sucked, the txting was wayyy to hard, and it took forever. although ill admit the graphics were alot better, it deffinitely was not worth what i had paid for it. voyager has a much more reasonable price on it. and its very easy to use.

I have an enV. The Mac should be able to use iSync to sync contacts both ways. My Mac offered to do it with the enV, but I declined - I have well over 500 contacts (the enV's limit). And that, really, is the problem in the business world. There is no easy way I've found to sync a subset of the Apple Address Book's contacts...

I took a video on my voyager, but don’t know how to get it in the computer. I would like to post it on myspace. I tried to do it with messaging, but it says that the file exceeds the maximum size. Help….

Well, after owning the iPhone for 6 months, and recently switching to the voyager, all I can say is that the voyager is by far my favorite. I had countless issues with the iPhone and AT&T. I would get dropped calls probaly one out of the five I recieved. I have not gotten one dropped call since being with verizon for 2 months. Sometimes pages would take over 5 minutes to load for me, and sometimes my phone would exit out of safari when trying to access certain pages. The touch screen on the voyager is very nice, but my top favorite thing is being able to flip it open and type. I also wished that the iPhone had the ability to flip it sideways and type during text messages, like you can on the web.

Don't get me wrong, I did like the iPhone. The service is horrible though, and do not tell me about getting the phone on another service because that just causes problems..and I dont feel like being worried about messing up my phone everytime I want an update. The expandable memory is pretty cool.

All and all I am very happy with the switch.

ummmm.. dude, really ? there are other phones by verizon that are more capable for business purposes. stop hating on the voyager. clearly its not for you because you need a phone made to aid a business man. the voyager is a cell phone that is to be used like a cell phone with some other perks, including a calender, mobile web, email, tv, blah blah... but it is not a pda with some other perks including being a cell phone. stop whining and just get a different phone ! -one that fits YOUR NEEDS

and there's nothing wrong with Verizon service so stop hating on that too... they're one of the best in the business because of one simple phrase; you get what you pay for !

Ok, I'm stuck with Verizon. AT&T doesn't work well in our area and everyone locally I know (almost) has Verizon. I'll wait a couple of years and get the iPhone when Verizon will finally pick it up. Until then, here is my complaint with the Voyager. It is not user friendly. It is just like every other Verizon phone I've had, just bigger. Yes, the screen is nice, yes, the qwerty is nice, yes email is nice, but there are so many things they could have done with it but didn't.

I'm on a Mac and can't do anything with it unless I use Bitpim. If you are going to compete with Apples flagship phone, then at least make the thing completely Mac compatible. How else are you going to try to pull from the Mac fanbase.

Now the biggest issue I have is intuitiveness, which it's not. You want to be able to do something with it naturally and you can't. Everyone can say what they want about the iPhone, but the bottom line is, Apple knows how to develop software. The iPhone's OSX software is intuitive and you simply are able to things with it naturally. I own the Voyager and something like visual voicemail would be nice. I understand they are going to have it at the end of July / beginning of August, but for an additional $1.99 per month. Come on, I get sick and tired of having to be charged for every little detail. I want vcast mobile, $15 per month. That's understandable. I want to add vcast mobile tv, another $15 - $25 per month. Everything that has any type of value, you get hammered by Verizon.

Another issue I have with the Voyager, I can only have 300 entries in my Calendar. What's that all about? I run a business and have tons of items on my iCal. I had to use BitPim to send everything to the Voyager and even at that, I try to add something to my calendar and it says the memory is full. I've got a Gig card and my phone has lots of memory, but the calendar won't let anymore than 300 items.

These are the restrictions that make it a nice phone to play with but not very good for a business solution. That's most likely why people stick with the Blackbeery or a similar phone.

I’ll wait a couple of years and get the iPhone when Verizon will finally pick it up. Until then, here is my complaint with the Voyager. It is not user friendly. It is just like every other Verizon phone I’ve had, just bigger. Yes, the screen is nice, yes, the qwerty is nice, yes email is nice, but there are so many things they could have done with it but didn’t.

I’m on a Mac and can’t do anything with it unless I use Bitpim. If you are going to compete with Apples flagship phone, then at least make the thing completely Mac compatible. How else are you going to try to pull from the Mac fanbase.

Now the biggest issue I have is intuitiveness, which it’s not. You want to be able to do something with it naturally and you can’t. Everyone can say what they want about the iPhone, but the bottom line is, Apple knows how to develop software. The iPhone’s OSX software is intuitive and you simply are able to things with it naturally. I own the Voyager and something like visual voicemail would be nice. I understand they are going to have it at the end of July / beginning of August, but for an additional $1.99 per month. Come on, I get sick and tired of having to be charged for every little detail. I want vcast mobile, $15 per month. That’s understandable. I want to add vcast mobile tv, another $15 – $25 per month. Everything that has any type of value, you get hammered by Verizon.

Another issue I have with the Voyager, I can only have 300 entries in my Calendar. What’s that all about? I run a business and have tons of items on my iCal. I had to use BitPim to send everything to the Voyager and even at that, I try to add something to my calendar and it says the memory is full. I’ve got a Gig card and my phone has lots of memory, but the calendar won’t let anymore than 300 items.

These are the restrictions that make it a nice phone to play with but not very good for a business solution. That’s most likely why people stick with the Blackbeery or a similar phone.

What problems? You say it has all these problems, but fail to mention what any of them are, or why and how they occur in the first place??? Your opinion has no standing here, this is now a debate, not a comment posting. <Just kidding, don't get your knickers in a twist! Next time just provide us with an example as to what you say these problems are, or what he may have done for them to occur. I have seen many I-Phones that continue to run smooth with no problems ever occurring.

In all the iphone has toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many problems. apple needs to wait until it perfects the iphone to sell it. my brother had one and it had a problem every month. if the iphone didn't have soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many problems it would be tied, but since it does the voyager is better! i've had a voyager for months now and never had a single problem.
