Samsung’s YP-P2 and YP-T10 MP3 players were announced way back when, but now we have pricing and availability (sort of). The P2 features a full 3-inch widescreen touch interface, stereo Bluetooth and gallops along at 30fps. The latest ‘iPod Killer’ comes in 4GB and 8GB flash memory with 35 hours of audio playback and five hours of video playback. The P2 is available in black, white and burgundy for $199, $249.

The T10 is a skinny bitch at 0.3-inches thick and weighs a whopping 1.5 ounces. The tiny wonder boasts a 2-inch screen, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth, video, voice recorder and game player in 4GB and 8GB capacities for $149 and $199. It will be available in midnight black, mystic purple, maple red, white cloud and lime yellow.
Both will ship some time this month.

I’ve seen some hands on with the yp-p2 and the user said that the ui is kinda clunky. Have you heard any thing else on it?

I played around with both a few months ago and they’re about as good as any touch screen UI on the market today. It was as your acquaintance pointed out a bit ‘clunky’. It wasn’t a production model so I’m not sure if anything has changed since I played with it. It wasn’t terrible or anything, but a little slow and required you to hit the icons just right. It was pretty slick and the features aren’t too shabby.
