I’ve been playing Halo 3 all weekend and it got me thinking about the Halo movie that’s been talked about for well over a year. Most of you have seen the shorts (video above) that fueled part of the record-breaking sales the latest adventure from freshly divorced Bungie and I’m sure it made you think about the upcoming movie, but I’m sad to report that the film is dead. At least that’s what the director, Neill Blomkamp is saying.
The film is entirely dead. In the configuration it was in. Whatever happens with that movie, assuming that movie gets made, will be a totally different configuration. It’s not so much me as the entire vessel sank. Basically, it was a combination of; there were two studios involved that weren’t getting along in the process of making it, Universal and Fox.
Sucks, right? Well, we’ll take solace in knowing that Bungie has already begun production on the next Halo title.
Well we are already at work on another Halo game — I wouldn’t call it “Halo 4″, but it is based in the Halo Universe and represents a collaboration between Bungie and Peter Jackson. Halo 3 was definitely not the last Bungie Halo game.

Actually Halo 4 wouldn’t be Halo Wars. They were talking about a sequel. Halo Wars isn’t a sequel. It’s a prequel. Set before Halo Combat Evolved. In fact, it’s probably based on the books Fall Of Reach and Contact Harvest. Both Books are set before Halo CE. And Halo Wars is actually a good idea in my opinion. Halo 3 is probably gonna be as good as it gets as far as FPS. So it’s nice to have a little diversity. Without Diversity it’d be like us living in a world full of white people and nothing but. I NEED those ASIANS!!! I NEED those cool BLACK people. I hate Canadians. We NEED MEXICANS… To stop stealing our stuff!!! I like diversity.

So this is obviously not talking about that game. Hint: The wouldnt be secretive about something they have already released videos on xbox live about. which is a sequel to halo 2, but a prequel to halo 3, and you are not the master chief, you are a recon soldier, look up the preview for it

No, Halo is about more than making money. As someone who loves all the Halo games, I can speak for many when I say that Halo is about the love of the game. Most of us can’t get enough and we want more….lots more…

to tell you the truth halo is not really a trilogy, it kinda started with the marathon games, but also if any of you guys have beat halo 3 and watched the end cut scene AFTER the credits (this has to be on legendary to get piece i am talking about) behind the floating frigate, is a planet, it has a city type structure and it looks somewhat fore-runner, it is named Onyx, to learn more about the planet read the book called “Ghosts of Onyx” it gives you a huge insight about the spartan program and everything, its pretty neat, check it out, there are a few books about halo, such as: The Flood, Ghosts of Onyx, Fall of Reach. and for all of you none believers, there will be a halo 4 or else the community would be pissed

Halo 4 is going to happen, and the movie will be produced. There is too much hype about halo to just cancel the movie. They have too much to work with to let the oppurtunity to go away, and plus, now is the perfect time to make it with modern technology and the strength of video cards.

I hope they continue the great progress of the HALO trilogies/ Games because the story is so accurate and precise that when I first played Halo in third grade, I was astonished of the Characters and realistics in our world and the HALO game world. We hope they keep making games and start making movies for the fans number one game.

Ok well first off yes there is most likely going to be another one. But if it’s called Halo anything i’ll be surprized. The rings are done, the flood and the grave mind are dead and the Covenant have gone home, meaning calling it Halo 4 would be kinda pointless since there will probably be no halo involved. If anything, it will be the start of something new on Onyx possibly involving the other 3 surviving Spartans.

I know what Bungie’s doing. You people don’t have to believe me, but my cousin’s roomates uncle is working with Bungie. And after a long discussion, my cousin told me his friend, Alfred’s uncle said that there will be a Halo 4 in the making. But the trouble of it is…it won’t be out for a long time. I don’t know what they’re doing with the movie, I’ll asked Richard (cousin) to ask Alfred’s uncle. Like I said you don’t need to believe me, curse at me all you want, call me stupid, I don’t care. For those who wonder what the story will be like, Alfred told Ritchie that he gave his uncle the idea of it either being Arbiter searching for Master Chief or Master Chief on the strange planet. When I was at a Christmas part at Richard’s roomate Alex’s, Alex told me all about what his dad told him. Halo 4, definetely will be the last. He told me that the story could either be base on the search for Master Chief, or Master Chief in the strange planet. No one who reads this comment has to believe me. I’m only passing on information. I don’t know if what I’m hearing is accurate, but his step-dad’s in Bungie and it’s gotta count for something.
