New Harry Potter DVD to include digital files for PC and portable devices
by Matt Hickey on October 10, 2007

All you crazy Harry Potter fans who like their content to go are in luck. Warner Bros. will be including iPod-friendly (or Zune-friendly) versions of Order of the Phoenix with the standard DVD when it’s released in early December. This is notable as it means the movie business is cluing in to how people enjoy their legally-purchased content.

Superman Returns featured a similar idea earlier in the year, and you can expect this trend to continue, at least from Hollywood. The music business, of course, would rather you listen to vinyl.
