In case you were wondering, Motorola has officially unveiled the PEBL-like U9 clamshell with CrystalTalk technology (noise reduction), stereo Bluetooth, a 2-megapixel camera with 8x zoom, microSD with 25MB of internal storage, external touch sensitive music controls and animated screensavers on the external display that float. The quadband GSM/EDGE phone is music-centric, which is the running theme lately and syncs with Windows Media Player 11 over USB 2.0 as well as supporting the following formats: WMA, MP3, AAC, AAC+ and AAC+ enhanced files. The U9 is also boasting a new UI with a ’spinner view’. Huh? No word on the NA debut, but it hits everywhere else sometime this quarter.
