Remember when I said I had my eye on the i450? Yeah, well, my mind hasn’t changed one bit. See the red scroll-wheel dealie on the left side? It doesn’t move, rather, it’s a touch sensitive ridge. When you get where you want to go (if you wanted to see all the artists or albums), you simply press down in the center of the arc and it jumps to that particular screen. The OS being S60 is phenomenal. The 2-megapixel camera is an added bonus as well as the FM radio, 3.5mm jack, and 2.4-inch screen as well as stereo Bluetooth. Great phone, just wish it were making it stateside.

  • Peter,

First, thanks for answering my question in the Serenata post. On a related note, how about the slideout speakers on this unit? When Samsung made the official announcement for the i450, I immediately noticed mention of the built-in B&O ICEpower amp and the all too familiar slide out stereo speaker. I’ve been wondering how much the i450 shares with the Serenata as far as speaker design and output quality. Any chance you were able to hear its speakers? I’d guess that B&O would have been smart enough to hold back some in their reciprocative partnership with Samsung to keep theirvproduct unique, but I figured it was worth asking.

  • Sound quality was decent, but my time with it was very limited. Even when the phone was ‘closed’ sound quality wasn’t too shabby, although, it was a bit muffled, but not terrible.

  • when will the phone be released and through who?

  • This phone is like directly copied from Nokia. The standard Nokia S60 standby menu, the dual slide, and the menu as well. Not sure how good Samsung will be though with implimenting the symbian into their phones. Looks like Samsung has finally reliased what the users need. The 2 megapixel camera is disappointing , i expected it to be atleast 3.2 mp. I guess i would never understand why all the manufacturers are so interested in putting radio in a phone, its outdated no one listens to the radio on their phone….!

  • Where can i buy this phone?

  • MY PHONE KEEPS CLOSING MY APPLICATIONS HOW DO I FIX THAT

  • hello, you are a girl? oh, you are the putaaa
