dan - the 1.1.1 firmware has been cracked and you can now unlock a FRESH 1.1.1 phone. By fresh I mean one straight out of the box, untouched by human hands. If you bought a 1.0.2 phone, used AnySim and jailbroke [??] it, don't upgrade to 1.1.1. If you used iPhoneSimFree, go ahead and upgrade. It should work.

Can you clarify - has anyone come up with a way to Jailbreak a phone in 1.1.1? I have AT&T so my phone is not "unlocked," but I do have apps on it. Will I be able to re-jailbreak and re-install apps? Or not yet.

Please post a link, if possible.
