To bad I really did not give a hoot about Major releases and apps on oink but oink was a really interesting medium for independent music, maybe indies should counter sue for being censored by the majors.

This is awful news. I didn’t even care about software there but OiNK was a great place to get a lot of out-of-print music (old CD singles, obscure IDM releases, long-lost jazz vinyl recordings from the 50s) that will be pretty hard to replace. All this (probably) over some insignificant leak of a beta operating system.
