I recently interviewed a Harmonix rep and he assured me that the Guitar Hero II controllers for the Xbox 360 will in fact work on Rock Band. He has personally used the X-plorer on test builds of the game. The biggest question is whether or not the Guitar Hero III controller will work on Rock Band. Red Octane really doesn't want the interoperability, Harmonix on the other hand, they're cool with it. Just thought I’d drop in and let you know that this rumor is not true.
