Keval, that is exactly why I've resisted up to this point to buy blu-ray. And precisely why I cast my vote for HD-DVD and spent my money there before they went under. I still cannot fathom how they lost out to blu-ray. Well, I can... PS3 is why. But specifically blu-ray format vs. HD-DVD format, HD-DVD wins hands down... Some will say that blu-ray has more storage. I say who cares? They both offer the same excellent video image. The reason that HD-DVD is superior is because they offered many releases on combo discs, so you could eject it from your HD player in the family room, flip it over and go play it in your car. That is such a huge value, when compared to blu-ray not offering that. I'm on the verge of giving in and buying blu-ray, have already bought the Die Hard set in fact. Still, I was looking at a new release movie that was only $13.99 on blu-ray, thought at first that it was a bargain, but immediately thought... Is it a bargain at any price, if I'm locked into watching it in only one place? Can't watch it in my bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, or in any of the 4 players in 3 of my vehicles. HD-DVD made so much more sense, too bad they didn't market it better.
