		<description>The S300 scans at up to 8 pages per minute (16 images per minute if you scan in duplex mode) regardless if you scan in colour mode or black and white mode.  The ScanSnap S510 is a similar product that scans at 18 pages per minute, but the S510 can not run on USB power like the S300.

		<description>We have used scanners at my office for years.  Our "high speed" models scan at 50 pages a minute.

We are looking for some to take on the road, that use a USB interface instead of a current SCSI card.

Any stats on black and white 300 DPI scans per minute?</description>
