T-Mobile Shadow, the fun phone, on October 31

The “official phone of fun,” the T-Mobile Shadow, now has a release date: October 31. The HTC-manufactured phone is very much consumer-oriented and emphasizes “fun” above everything else. (Hopefully not functionality.) MyFaves has been enhanced. In addition to being able to call your five favoritest people in the whole wide world, you’ll be able to e-mail, IM and send a video/picture to them. Wow, that is fun!
Other gems include its 2-megapixel camera (are we now finished with 1.3-megapixel cameras?) and crazy paint jobs: copper (pictured here) and sage, greenish color. And no, I did not see a price listed anywhere in the materials. Fantastic.

Actually, The photo you have here is of the sage “greenish color” phone you describe, the copper version is much nicer.
