I won’t even bother explaining what the $100 laptop (which is really a $183 laptop) is since we write about it seemingly every day. I will, however, casually mention that Uruguay, winner of two World Cups and 14 Copa Americas, is the first country to officially place an order for them. Montevideo has ordered 100,000 laptops for its schoolchildren, who will benefit from the width and breadth of knowledge that the Internet has to offer. Everything from lolcatz to Chuck Norris jokes to videos of kids buying a PS3 with $1 bills.

Yes, kids, the Internet really is wonderful. Welcome aboard.

I believe you left out pr()n

This comes with no powersave or screen savers - cause well - if no one is around to wind it up, then well you know.

Seriously though, how often do you need to wind this up are these kids riding bike generators.

Why don’t any of the pictures actually show the thing running?
