The excitement I felt before boarding my first VA flight was quickly extinguished upon entering the main cabin. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still going to fly VA wherever they fly going forward, but it wasn’t that cool. The lighting was certainly more pleasant than the usual drab on other airlines and the scenery was significantly better as well. The in-flight entertainment system was particularly entertaining even though they had to reboot and I saw that it was running Linux. Unfortunately, my camera was in my bag so I couldn’t snap a pic. I can’t really comment on the service because they pretty much leave you alone after they dole out the first round of drinks. The only thing I found was the Wi-Fi network, but I was sans the password so I couldn’t access it. Maybe it’s rolling out sooner than we thought.

I’m liking that skull desktop background. Anyone know where you can get it?
Right here
I’m so jaded. VA was awesome, but my expectations were just too high from what everyone else had told me.
maybe i am wrong but i was under the impression that the linux computers in the seats used wifi to stream from the server on the plane as way to cut down the weight
lightning was pleasant???????
Gah!
