I am really happy that Toshiba issues the RD-A301. The unit seems very interesting technically speaking and very important for the customer. Personally, I would buy one immediately but the unit is not available in North America , zone 1. I will watch any dealer able to supply me. I already own the HD-A3KC player and the DR-400 recorder (not HD), both working very well and I miss the DVD HD recorder to use with the Sony HD camera and also to record anything in HD with the RD-A301. Be sure I will check on the internet the news development of this recorder.
