Is anyone else out there tired of the Halo 3 map rotation? Or the fact that you have to play shoddy sniper almost every other match? Well, it seems Bungie is working on fixing the problem and releasing some new maps within the next couple of weeks. The first new map is called OK Corral, which will provide catwalks, alley ways and hiding spots for players to have long-range sniper battles on. Other maps include Jodrell Bank, Vandelay and Purple Reign. Vandelay is supposedly the simplest map ever created by Bungie, giving players great creative control when playing in Forge mode. There’s no pricing information available yet, so stay tuned.

Dude, you need to play more game types. Sounds like you’re playing team slayer to the exclusion of all else. I’ve never ever come across a shotty sniper game playing rumble pit or lone wolves since launch. Or try some non-slayer games.
You’re totally right I almost always do Team Slayer. I have a group of friends that I’m always on with. We do other game types when it’s a lot of us but most of the time it’s slayer. The map rotations on slayer are still really skewed.
I actually really love shotty snipers.
I really am happy with everything, changing the game types definitely helps.
My real hope is that they reincarnate Lock out, ivory tower, or… chill out
