damn! i'm so fuckin' mad at apple right now... i just bought an ipod touch in new york, i live in mexico... and 3 days ago i noticed in their site that they have a software update for 20 bucks! (which is free for the iphone, but i can't buy that device in mexico) i can't believe it! and as you can't have an itunes account in mexico... even if i wanted to pay for that software update... i couldn't do it... APPLE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT LATIN AMERICA (and aparently neither about ipod touch owners) i'm so disappointed...

Restore the iPod. Sorry but this will erase ALL data on iPod. It is the only way to reset the password though. Tough choice - start over with loud volume or keep everything on quiet volume!

Great news about the iPod touch update. I noticed that myself when I was playing around after the update. I couldn't notice any other changes to the iPod, any idea what they were?

@Duvar: You need to reset your iPod to factory settings:

Hi
I have an ipod with 80GB. i did something in volume setting. I gave one password to set the sound limit and i forgot that password. So its playing with very less volume. If i try to increase the volume by entering into setting->volume limit. its asking that password. Is there any way to reset that password? can anyone faced this problem? plz help me regarding this.

Thanks,
Duvar.
