Slide problems real says T-mo

So the Sidekick Slide problem - shutting off for no reason - is real and it’s fabulous. T-mobile has suspended sales until further notice. Moto is working to fix the problem but Slide owners should visit T-mo stores for a fix.

UPDATE: According to BGR, those of you with problematic Slides will be able to get upgraded to the LX at no additional cost. Nice!

“We received word that any Sidekick Slide owners that report the power issue will receive a free upgrade to the Sidekick LX with free express shipping. You won’t have a color choice, though. You’ll get the blue LX.”

  • Why is the slide so expensive?

  • It is August 2008 and my Sidekick slide just started crashing on me. Over the past week, it has just shutdown on me everyday. Then yesterday, it crashed on me 6 times. Im talking the only way i could get it to come back on is by removing the back, pulling the battery out, reinserting it, and then turning it back on. So i called t-mobile.

  • It is november, 2008 and my sidekick slide has been shutting down on me randomly for the past month. It is starting to happen more often now, though. And when it does shut off, all my pictures, text messages, downloads, and contacts get deleted. Usually, they all come back, but this time none of my downloads came back. I’m calling t-mobile tomorrow. This is bs.
