Holidays weren't the same, as he would "guess" what my gift to him was before opening, and he was always right, even when I went to great lengths to disguise it. More disturbingly... In my mid 20's he would have been listing to private conversations between me and a boyfriend. The topic of which was sexual in nature at some times. As an adult, I spent a year on the couch working thru various issues I had as a result of his invasive actions, and other less than healthy parenting tactics. I believe his actions were the result of lack of trust for himself. And in the end, he lost my trust. We no longer speak.
