I advise you to go to http://www.completemobile.us and you can buy the Voyager, and any other phone already unlocked. That is exactly what I’m going to do once I can. while you are there, you can buy a Verizon Service Plan for $50 and get unlimited.

Well wouldn’t pushing hard on the touch screen crack the inside screen? So that kinda means you did crack the screen. Don’t get me wrong, accidents happen. But on the Voyager you really don’t have to press really hard on the screen to press any button.

I have decided to get the Voyager. My friend has it, and he doesn’t complain about it at all. So is there two colors: Grey and Black? If so i want to get the Black one.

Yes there probably is a way. But if it’s easier for you. Go to http://www.completemobile.us. You can get any phone (Blackberry, iPhone, etc..) unlocked and for a way much more better price. And better yet, there is no contract, or credit check. I’m going to either get the enV Touch or Voyager, don’t know which one (any help/suggestions??) for however how ever how much. They only have smart phones listed and some cheap phones for right now, they are still adding. And the AT&T and Verizon plans are only $50 unlimited. And T-Mobile plans are $45 unlimited. So check that site out i previously told you and good luck!

I HATE THIS PHONE!! anyone who has the opportunity to buy it dont. I have had this phone for less then a year and it has broken 6 times in the same way. It is not my fault. i am careful and i dont drop it. it just stops working in the same exact way every time. the thing is it never stops letting me call people it just stops letting me hear them and they cant hear me… it still rings and beeps when i get a text. Also the touch screen sucks horrible… this phone is horrible do not buy!

I’ve had the LG Voyager since Christmas ‘09. I haven’t dropped it or abused it in any sort of way. About 2 months ago i noticed a crack by the hinge and didn’t think anything of it, even though it clicked when i opened it. Just today, when I go to use the keyboard, it flops open. Literally flops open. My friend has had this problem too and he didn’t abuse his phone either but his warrenty wouldn’t cover it. Mine is still under warrenty too but probably wont cover it. If I’m going to have to keep dishing out money to fix the phone I’d rather just buy a new one because it won’t even be worth it. The only problem: I have a 3 year contract. What should I do?

Ok i have had the LG Voiyager for about a year now… My first on lasted untill March of this year, then the one after that lasted 3 months, the the one after that lasted 2 weeks… The life span of the LG Voyager seems to be getting shorter and shorter… ANd all the publicity it got as the ” iPhone Killer “. Yeah, not even close…. If you looking for a new phone… stay away from the lg voyager, trust me… my 4th one is in the mail.

whewie* i jus spilled nail polish remover on my phone last night. it was the samsung sway and let me tell you i do not recomend it or samsung phones. but anyways so i was looking today to see what i wanted and i had my eyes on the voyager. i used this site to see reviews. i dont understand how alot of people love it but alot of people dont. i was torn but i feel like im goin to stand on the side with the people who like it and im goin to get the phone tonight. :)

OK im am sick of the voyager it works great when it works. i got it last July and about 2 weeks later it started shutting down by itself and it wouldn’t turn back on. I would pop out the Batt. and no work. then in like november i took my charger out and it ripped out the inside metal part, like a week before that then send button keeps going off, like it showed you passed called and then it would call the last person i called. now June haven’t even had my phone for a year it doesn’t charge what so ever. i sick and tired of my phone breaking.

All of a sudden some of my keys on the outside (send, clr and the volume) stopped working. Then when I opened on the inside, none of they keys work including the keyboard. The only button that works is the END key.
I have tried to shut it down and took out the battery for a second, but nothing has changed.
I just got this phone a week ago. Can anyone help me with this problem?

I have the phone as well. I was told by my fiance who was a cell phone salesman for another (bigger) phone company, that all phones need to be turned off daily anyway because of all the data it receives and sends. This helps with random freezing or sudden power loss. My Voyager freezes up, or at least goes a bit slower, but only after I have had it on all day and all night. Its just sensitive…
Plus, this phone you have to recalibrate about once a week. Typical in most touch screen phones.

the same exact thing happened to mine, but i took it into Verizon and they replaced it. I love my voyager, no other phone is able to compare to it in my book.

I am indifferent about my voyager. I like the huge buttons on the keyboard but don’t care for the touchscreen. I like being able to save my pics to an microsd card and straight to my pc. I don’t like that you have to purchase mp3’s through VZN. I am on my 3rd voyager since aug 08 and the same thing keeps happening to each one. The port that you plug a charger into quits working and it refuses to charge. Luckily I got the insurance for it (which I usually don’t get) and I am able to take it back every 2-3 months and get a new one because thats as long as they last.
