I agree that people shouldn’t text while in the car. It does involve a lot of attention. However, not talking in the car? I find no difference talking on my cell phone while driving than talking to someone in the passenger seat. Pressing one button for speed dial takes the same amount of time as glancing at my radio button to my rear view mirror. Furthermore, even while driving alone, I always drive with one hand anyways. Holding the cell phone does not hinder my driving.

well i have a question. I was wondering after buying the phone and using it a lot will the touch screen keep up or will it like stop working 2 months after my contract starts with the phone?

be nice, most people do it anyway! drive your anger towards people with DUI’s. you’ll get a lot more people on your side. but yeah, it’s dangerous to text and drive, but i don’t believe that it can cause accidents often. drunks and drugged people are worse.

THANK YOU! at least someone likes the voyager. i really want it, and i’m sad that almost everyone’s comments say that they are disappointed in it and regret getting it. COME ON people, it’s probably the best Verizon phone yet. *Voyager Rules*- i totally agree with you, people need to understand that it is a phone, not a computer, and that YES, it won’t be as fabulous. just be thankful technology is so advanced these days and be happy. i’m so excited to get it!!!!!!!!!!!! the online verizon store put it down to only $100. can’t wait!

Actually you can scroll, you’re probably doing it the wrong way, u don’t pull ur finger down to go down, you drag the scroll bar up, it sounds backwards, but it actually makes sense… It was funny a guy at verizon was talking aobut how people buy expensive fancy phones and then don’t know how to use them… hmm

Dude.. my phone was broken like that too… I just kept it
and the next thing I know I have a huge crack in the inner
touch screen…. I’m really pissed because there are no
spare parts to fix it

The GPS chip in CDMA phones is actually an Assisted-GPS chip. So yes, it does use GPS satellites, but if it can’t see enough/any it should be able to determine your position by cell tower-based triangulation.

that black dime thing? my friend had one on her env. she didnt drop it or anything. then she did drop it, she opened it up and the black dime spot was gone! im not telling you all to hum your phones at the ground or anything but give it a shake or somethin…..idk

i got my voyager a while back and i loved it at first the only thing is that after a while having to open it and use both hands to type a 3 word message kind of gets annoying also a lot of the time it is in my pocket in school and something will press against it and hit the overly sensitive power button and turn it off or it will hit the voice command button and even if it is on silent all of the sudden a voice will come from my pocket and freak everyone out and usually get me in trouble. Recently the only real problem i had was when me and my friends were playing soccer and i fell but not very hard and not even on the phone and went to txt someone and imagine my surprise when my phone was off, well i powered it up only to find a horrible spider web of cracks on the touchscreen but not the hard screen over the touchpad. Im beginning to think that maybe a touchscreen is a little to exposed. but overall its a great phone and having the qwerty totally kills the iphone if you text a lot like just about every one in the country does.
