Sony rolled out its PLAYSTATION (all caps, like a Japanese heel pro wrestler’s name) Store for the PC today, only you’ll probably ask yourself why it didn’t call the store the PSP Online Store. Yes, you can fire up your Web browser of choice and navigate it on your computer, setting up an account, browsing what titles are available and so on, but you’ll need a PSP to take advantage of most of its features.

Which means you, Mr. PSP Owner, won’t need to link up with a PS3 in order to download additional content. Happy day.

Users will be able to download complete PSP and PSone games in addition to bonus junk like extra hats for your character. That last one I made it, but it could be true.
