Sorry Tivo, too little too late. No HD, IR blasters and useless dual tuner with digital cable or satellite, monthly fees in USD!!! Imagine RIM charging Americans CAD for their Blackberries.

Start putting some thought into the Canadian market instead of trying to unload excess inventory at double the price, and maybe you’ll be successful in Canada. “till then, too little too late.

I bought the Toyota deal and paid $125 with one year of paid service. I’m happy and tracking my Tivo. It’s in Kansas right now. Woohoo! Oh, and Tivo is available everywhere in Canada except in Quebec. Tivo didn’t want to translate their stuff in French I guess. Zut Alors!

To the idiot who wrote this, not only is the series 2 tivo $99 in the US, but the dollar has fallen back to par again, so us canuks will be overpaying….again.
