Actually I run a Vista system,
I update my computer the second updates are available,
I compared my Vista computer with the rest of my friend's Xp,
my computer was the fastest of them all.
The only bad thing about vista is the compatibility with some software, but you can easily download a new version of the software and done =D

I have Vista on one hard drive and XP on another hard drive Iv been switching back and forth between operating systems. Let me put it this way XP just works. Vista just does not work no matter what you do with it its feels like garbage it sure dosent game good at all it also like to crash and do strange things. XP just works its way more effecient and well programmed. Im running all new modren hardware so thats not the issue. Vista fails when it comes to resources 700MB RAM at the desktop! Thats just one example that they should have pulled the plug on this puppy!!! On the other hand XP gets by with 300MB at the desktop and it works well with all programs and applications and its fast. There is no reason to get vista besides its all buggy and messed up and slow. Look at it this way lets pretend XP and Vista looked the same. Ok you would choose the one that works best it seems people like vista for its looks. Because after all it only has its looks. I remember getting XP when it was new it just worked right out of the box. Vista out the box no way... it kinda reminds me of Windows ME. There is no Service Pack cure for Vista only way to fix it is to start over.
