Are you tired of having to remove your mousing hand from your mouse in order to input 10-key on the numeric side of your keyboard? Me too, that’s why I’m looking forward to picking up the Adesso AKP-170, which is an optical mouse with a built-in numerical keypad.

Ok, so it’s not for everyone, but I can see serious PC gamers looking at this guy. By customizing your game’s buttons to the numerics, and just using your one hand, it frees up your second hand so you can start in on that second pizza.

Ok, so maybe not that either. I’m not sure who this is for, but it’s kind of cool, and I know you’re out there.

  • Space-strapped laptop-toting Excel users rejoice!

Hip-Hip….oh, no one else is cheering? Hmmm…..

  • It looks like it would be useful for laptops. I have seen USB keypads for notebooks, I think that this is just combining that with the idea of notebook mice.

It is definitely one of the more reasonable mouse+otherdevice I’ve seen. That combination mouse and label maker was a bit… strange.

  • Wow that thing is so shit. I hope you got paid to write about it.
