I always go with Hanlon&#039;s Razor for these situations: &quot;Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.&quot; MS has tons of money and has been in the industry standards-setting offensive for a long time. I don&#039;t see their continual backing of HD DVD as anything other than business as usual.</description>

		<description>Betamax was also superior...  How&#039;d that work out?  Cheap and available will prevail, whatever the HD format.  Digital delivery will not be the industry standard until fiber is as common as copper.  And that won&#039;t happen any time soon.</description>
