Spada: Skis made out of granite

A pair of skis made from stone? Sounds good, especially considering I don’t even know what “normal” skis are made out of (winter and I don’t get along too well). The idea behind the skis, named Spada, is that stone—the skis are constructed from granite—is the perfect material to absorb the bumps and shocks and vibrations associated with skiing.

To my ignorant self, they look neat. I mean, I’m not lying when I say the closet thing I’ve been to skiing was that one episode of “Rocko’s Modern Life.”
