I just did some research and apparently a “party” is a “social gathering especially for pleasure or amusement.” And at these parties, people drink any number of drinks from any number of cups. What happens, though, when you set your cup down inadvertently next to someone else’s? How do you know what drink is yours? Designer Jaehyung Hong has the answer for us.
These cups come with a series of letters and other symbols along the bottom rim. It’s up to you to decide exactly what symbols you want on there. Make it sufficiently unique and you’ll avoid that whole “is that my cup or yours?” scenario. Thank God Hong’s on our side!

You know, we have magic markers that solve this problem already.
First of all, if somebody wanted to cause trouble they could purposely set off the same marks as someone else.
Second, over time, especially when drinking, people are going to forget what their design was.
Finally, 99% of people are just going to want to grab a cup and drink, and not bother picking out any design on it.
The thing is useless.
