I bought this TV a month ago and I agree it's great for the money. I was surprised how good the speakers sounded because most LCD speakers are lame but these actually sound decent, better than the speakers on my 50-inch Samsung plasma in the family room. I also like the way the TV handles SD signals because usually the images appear blurred and stretched on most budget LCD's but on this one it is a fairly sharp picture. Watching in HD is great. I found the best picture setting for me for contrast and brightness was to set the contrast to 100% and then turn on a movie with a lot of black areas, then I moved the brightness until the blacks looked the blackest. I think my brightness is set around 30%. A TV calibration specialist once told me this is the best general method for setting up an LCD panel and I think it turned out pretty good.

I actually got this TV for $349 on the week of thanksgiving. Best Buy was also have a deal for Reward Zone members, you get triple points so in a month I'm going to get another $20 in discount vouchers. I think the deal is still going on until the end of December. I just can't believe how the price of LCD's is falling so quickly, last year I spent $350 on a no-name 19-inch LCD.

i bought the 32" version of this TV at best buy about a month ago, and we couldn't be happier. The HD channels look beautiful, the sound is decent, and for the price ($530 for the 32") we think we got a great deal.
