Rockstar, the game’s publisher, had appealed a British certification board’s rejection to rate the game (which effectively banned its sale)… and won! Yes, R*’s appeal was successful, meaning that the certification board has to review the game again. If the board takes no action this time around, you’ll be able to purchase the game in stores from Cardiff to London to Edinburgh.
I do hate to break it to you, British gamers, but you’re really not missing much . The game is senseless violent act after senseless violent act, sorta like how Leeds United used to play.
