I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Acer monitors? Best bang for the buck, in my humble opinion. Please note that I’m not saying Acer monitors are the best monitors ever invented in the history of personal computing. I’m saying that, for the price, they’re generally a very, very good value.
This 22-incher is $199.99 at Newegg.com, which includes free 3-day shipping. It’s got a 1680 X 1050 max resolution, a 700:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms refresh rate, and both DVI and D-Sub connections. For a 22-inch monitor, $199 with no rebates or shipping costs is a wheel of a deal.

Thanks guys! Just ordered one. I’ve been looking for a few weeks for a quality 22″ LCD under 200. And that fact that I’ll get it in less than a week is awesome.
not sure i care for this sez who thing.
I would not take an acer if they were giving them away. lol the first one i had had 22″ and it had this horrible buzzing sound and also had a hot spot or dead pixel which annoyed the crap out of me. i decided to return it to the shop and chose to exchange it for an Asus mw221u and never looked back since. there is totally no ghosting when playing the 360 on it and the picture is so crystal clear. guys i would highly recommend an Asus especially for gamers. ps it has a true 2ms not unlike the BS acer tells you they say 2ms but it actually is 5-6ms.
My parents have the 17″ version of this monitor, but this seems like a better deal. There is fine for internet and documents, there is no weight to or in the stand, and it feels hollow and cheap, probably like this one. Also the buttons are like this monitor, and are really cheap too. You can still see the mold marks on the buttons. I would pay a few more dollars just to have nicer buttons.
