@Jason K - Hi this is Mark from Dash.

Our agreement with Inrix ensures that we have great traffic data all over the country, even in markets with just a few Dash units. And the good news is that as more people buy the product, the service will get even better.

I think one of the great things about the Dash platform is that it is always improving since we can wirelessly update devices. We do believe that we can create a ton of meaningful value for consumers that will drive adoption of our product and service. Today we see services like satellite radio with 17 Million subscribers in the car, where the alternative is FREE radio. I hope with the unique information we can bring to consumers in the car we will be able to drive adoption over time.

Thanks,

Mark

I was a beta tester for Dash, and while I agree that the service and the concept are excellent, I think that $599 + $10-12/mo. is not the best way to build a subscriber base. The whole idea of a device-networked, real-time traffic feature as a key differentiator will rely on having enough people on the road with the device to make it happen. At that price point, and with heavy competitive pressures (some in the sub $200 range), I don't see it happening and a great device/service may ultimately fail because of it.

Dash Express is loaded to fascinate us with on the go telling us;

* Better routes to get destination considering the traffic flow.
* Better ways to get destination by giving us specific options to shop, eat and drink.
* Better options to explore locality of route.

Features which I admire most,

* MyDash: Allows me to create button and upload to Dash device through Internet.
* Send2Car: Allows me to talk to car from my laptop to updates like addresses.
