		<description>I agree about embracing Android. The thing that Palm got right was the *UI*, the effortless HotSync, the Form Factor, and general Look-n-Feel. The OS underneath it was a pile of crap. But do users care? Nope.

Chuck in Android underneath, and do the above, which is what they (were?) good at.</description>

		<description>I personally think that Palm should embrace Android. Give up on being an OS company - focus on creating good quality hardware and integrating it with Android. Perhaps work as well to create a layer that will enable Palm OS apps to work on Android.

		<description>Great write-up. Palm is a little before my time (not to date you or anything :P) but I remember growing up and wanting a Palm of my own. So it&#039;s a sad to see the iconic figure go down, but their influence on the industry and technology will be felt for a long time to come.</description>
