OS2008 is officially available for the N800 and it looks pretty hot. The web-browsing is almost perfect now — Flash video looks good — and Ajax web apps work as well. There are some new application manaement features and more codec support as well as a video converter for DivX/Xvid. Tabletblog is just giddy about theirs so maybe we should all download ASAP.

Hey Nokia, us 770 owners would also like an OS2008 upgrade – please.
You don’t have a big enough user base to start discounting owners of the older model. I’ve pretty much stopped using my n770 and will not buy an upgrade for fear of discontinued support.
N770 and OS2008 … I just fell of my chair laughing!
I really like the fact that when the battery is fully charged you get a message saying to unplug the charger to save electricity!!
I only wish that I could get Gnumeric and Aisleriot Solitaire to install. Other than that I’m very happy with OS2008.
Did you have any luck with Gnumeric on the N810. I would be very intereted to learn how you achieved this if you have. Any information very greatfully received.
