Xbox doesn’t have HDMI? Adapt it, friend
by Matt Hickey on December 19, 2007

802814b.jpgDid you buy one of those Xbox 360s when they first came out? You know, the ones without HDMI? But you’re all about HDMI now, and think it’s way cool? But you don’t want to buy a whole new Xbox just to get HDMI? Am I pigeon-holing you enough?

In short, there’s now a plug-in HDMI adapter for the Xbox, and it’s $90, which is far too much if you ask me. And, since I’m a blogger, and this is the blog I write for, you reading this is sort of the same thing, so there.

Hmm might have to get me one of these for testing…

Just look on ebay for a vga>hdmi converter. got one for £30, that integrates the audio as well. Watch out for expensive box’s and cables like this overcharging you for the pleasure.

You won’t get the same quality you will get on a native hdmi adapter, that you get on a vga signal converter.

both are adaptors, converting digital to analogue, so essentially do the same thing.

thanks craig i will look for the cheaper ones
