I have a friend who’s an engineer at Tivo out here in Northern Cali. Told me not to hold my breath waiting for that Comcast upgrade - it’s gonna be a slooooooow rollout, particularly in high-demand areas like the SF Bay Area (where I am). AT&T U-Verse suddenly looks attractive …

Also, I was the first customer in Boston to get the upgrade according to the technicians who installed it. NOT the first in the country.
