RIMs new Blackberries to rock slanty keys?

I honestly couldn’t care less about this new patent filed by RIM regarding new Blackberry keyboards, but I know you addicts go nuts when we mention anything about them, so here you go. Merry late Xmas to you.
Also, I’m not sure how useful this is, but it could actually be a decent design change. Until I’ve had one in my hands, it’s really hard to tell if this is just a stylistic layout or if it’s faster or easier to use. I guess we’ll have to wait, and I hate waiting. Thanks, RIM, for ruining my day.

I think its a good idea in theory, especially for the power user who needs that extra second this might save him per e-mail or text message. My problem with it is it would seem to make one handed typing awkward. I guess I could get used to it, but there might be a bit of a learning curve for it.
You think its dangerous to text while driving? Now think about the owners of this phone texting with both hands while driving!
