i had the rumor for less than a yr and it broke completely apart, not kidding! The top part came apart from the bottom part and it cost more than it was worth to fix it! But if you’re willing to take really good care of it, then you should have no probs. It’s actually not that bad of a phone if you dont keep sliding it back and forth just for fun! :))

ok . i have the rumor(black & blue) and it was workinq perfectly . the battery will take forever to charqe but then it dies in like 30min . now the phone cuts off all on its own and it never charqes . when it does charqe it dies in like 2min . i dnt know what to do w. the phone . my dad had it and he upqraded so he qave me the rumor . it was workinq just fine when he had it and now its actinq wacko . shuld i complain? . will that work?

i think my situation is alittle bit different.
my rumor is the blue one and it’s been good to me for about 4 months i think.
my screen went fuzzy and it had stripes all over it and laterr the screen went grey and white. i charged my phone and turned it off and turned it back on and the rumor made the noise it makes when it turns on but the screen was still white but the keyboard light were still on. sometimes if i turn my phone off for like two days then when i turn it on again it wil make the starting sound and the main screen would work. but the main menu would get all messed up and squggily.
i would appreciate it if you guys could give me some advice, thanksss;)

I’ve had this phone since Aug 2nd… This phone is a piece of junk. It turns off and on without me touching it, and now my latest problem I can’t save pictures to my phone… I would seriously exchange phones if I could….

I have ACS and I got this phone. It works amazing, there are no problems at all and I’ve had it for a while. I’ve dropped it in water once but I put it in a bowl of rice and it worked like brand new!

dont get it i just got the rumor 2 and ive had it for a week and the screen is already messed up i havent dropped it or it hasnt got wet one day i was just sitting there and the screen started messing up

i have the rumor i had it for a year before the keys on the keyboard stopped working so they gave me a brand new one alls well till one month later when i found out that the end key that turs off your phone and hangs up calls(pretty important key right) well that stopped working so for a year now i have had to take out the battery since they refuse to replace or do anything about it now the phone has just flat out stopped working i hate this phone its a peice of crap as is sprint and lg

Well my rumor keyboard stopped working a couple days ago after ive had it for 1 year and as soon as i started texting a lot the past month it finally stopped working. The side buttons wont work anymore and the keyboard i have to pound on 5 times to get 1 letter. I wouldnt recomend it if u text a lot.

I have had so many problems with my Rumor, this is the phone that I’ve had for the least amount of time (about 13 months) and I’ve had to use my insurance 3 times to get a new phone! I am sick and tired of all the problems this machine from hell has caused.

My first Rumor one day decided that my TALK button would no longer work, so I couldn’t call or answer the phone, then all the numerical buttons stopped working. I thought maybe I had broken it, so I took it to the Sprint store and ordered a new one, I promised I would take better care of it and the second phone decided that the QWERTY keyboard was going to stop working, so I texted with the numerical keypad and then it started to randomly shut off (which made me VERY angry) so I chose to replace it again, I mean what is the purpose to buying a brick phone if you can’t use the QWERTY keypad? I decided to try it one more time and well let’s just say the third time wasn’t a charm… it started off okay and then random parts of my screen would go blank but sooner or later they’d re-appear I figured I could deal with it. Later the black parts permanently stayed black until the entire screen was unusable. I recently switched to the LOTUS and so far it’s working out ok.

When I try to text it says something about Code 97 or something like that. It won’t let me send or recieve texts and it won’t let me send or recieve calls. It sucks! I’ve only had it for three days. The first day I got it it worked perfectly and the next morning it did too. When afternoon came it got the problems. I tried to call Bell but their ‘busy’/'not available’. If I can reach them should I get a replacement or should I just get them to give me a different phone, you know…not waist my time?

a message to everyone…. DONT BUY THIS PHONE!! after 8 months the speaker broke and i cant even hear anyone on the other line. Bell was calling it liquid damage. THEY ARE FULL OF SH*T. i regret buying this phone, and im sure everyone else does.

I am on my second rumor from sprit. I got my first green one at the end of september and in feb. it stopped charging..when i took it back to the store they said the charging port had separated from the phone itself…there was no way to fix it. I got a new one in a week but it cost me $150. Im about to replace the one they sent for the exact same problem. Plus this one randomly shuts off all the time.

My advice: dont buy this phone..its a piece of junk.

But after reading all these comments, i’m making
second thoughts. Should i get the LG Rumor?

if you’re a canadian resident, do you still call the LG USA service number? O_o. Hmh..The phone seemed really cool especially the keyboard.
