I had the same issue last night trying to jam out to some RB with my friends over XBL. We were finally able to get it working but it took about an hour of constant attempts. I would get connected then get dumped trying to invite my friends to a game. Then I cound not get connected again. This kept happening over and over again. We were not able to start until 11:30pm EST. Very frustrating. I am guessing heavey traffic was the cause. Everyone trying to play their new X-mas presents. These are not the kind of games I like to play MS. Grrrrrrr!

Yeah... I haven't tried today, but the Saturday and Sunday it was pretty much pointless to try to play anything on XBL. I contacted a few other people I usually get in on CoD4 with and they were having the same issues. It would say it was logging in and then just dump me back to the main screen taunting me with no error and the log-in-to-live button still there. I was thinking of asking for a prorated extension to my membership -- this is just craptastic. Big deal, $50 for the membership but during the time mos people have vacation is a little annoying!
