While I’m sure this won’t effect most CG readers, hop online and get your $40 certificate for a digital to analog converter for Grandma’s old CRT TV or Dad’s TV in the garage. The Essentially, all analog television broadcasts will cease on February 17. 2009 and this box with convert digital signals to analog and many even add closed-captioning and other cool features that you wouldn’t normally have on an old RCA from 1982.

  • I get my TV OTA — digital of course — but I have a lesser-used 12-year-old TV that could use a converter…and believe it or not, my workplace has several old-skool TVs that will require converters, too. So, yes, I signed up for two coupons – my tax dollars are finally working for me.

  • SO how does one get these Coupons with filling in a government database? IE in person and anonymously?
