Do you by chance know the password to get into its configuration? When I type in http://192.168.15.1, I don't get but one field for the password with no username field. I contacted Clear and the chat person said I would have to contact tech for that. I have mine set up on a Linksys Wireless-N with a desktop and laptop running wirelessly with no problems. I have great reception most of the time but had to walk it all over the upstairs to get the best signal. Currently I average about 4mbps to 1MB/ps download and up to 125KB/ps upload with and average of about 60KB/ps. Would love to know the password if you do. Thanks.

I received one of these with the Clear WiMax service. It works fine if you've got a single PC. But Clear technical support was of little help getting it to work for me on my home network. The problem with this modem is that it is actually configured as a single-port router, with no bridging mode option. I had to connect it to a LAN port on my D-Link router instead of the WAN, while disabling DHCP as well as plug and play to get it to work properly. Although the CPEi 100 itself provides a DHCP, firewall and port-forwarding, there's no QOS or other advanced routing functions. The available bandwidth appears to be breathtaking one day and terrible the next. One other annoyance is that there's no way to change the admin password. I wish I had stuck with cable at this point.

Hickey,

It's a modem, it should only have one port. Run it into your firewall or Proxy server and have as many ports as you want on it. It's not like my bonded T1 router at my office has more than one (LAN side) port.
