Compact Flash + SATA = FLATA hotness

I’m glad to see a significant change in this arena; I always hear about quality differences in CF cards for my Canon, citing better speeds on the “Extreme” versions of such and such a brand, but in the end the interface is growing to be the limiting factor.

I shoot rapid fire RAW shots all the time, and having my motor drive be limited in the frequency and length of the sequence by the speed of the card is frustrating. I can’t wait for the SATA interface to be included in a next-gen Rebel or D70, that will definitely be a selling point for me.
