Tri-band HSDPA is exactly why we WILL likely see it on these American shores. Perhaps you’re confusing Tri-Band HSDPA with Tri-Band GSM?

Triband HSDPA is the PRO. 850/1900/2100 is UMTS/HSDPA on every continect with every band currently.

After using for a few months, I found that the set hangs up on you from time to time. And the slider mechanism, after a while there’s a gap. Don’t know if that is significant yet.
