Product Name: GW4 Linux phone

Description: A Treo-like form factor running Linux beats Palm at its own game. Expect Android soon. 2MP camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, and lots of other goodies.

Price: With carrier subsidies, likely around $300 to $400 at launch.
In-store date: “Later in this 2008″

Site: http://www.wneweb.com.tw/

Why it’s cool: Smartphones are going Linux, which is a good thing. These GSM handsets don’t skimp, and they seem to be made for Android. If you were looking for a real “gPhone” before Google’s phone platform announcement, consider this the next best thing.
