The LG booth is staffed by douches

LG’s exciting new watch concept.
A few douches decided to prevent me from taking pix of the red hot LG watch concept which, as you can imagine, is a watch with a phone in it. Amazing stuff, to be sure, but I got the Sean Penn treatment from a full set of booth douches informing me in no uncertain terms that a device that will never come to market and is already well documented elsewhere is not to be photographed.
Overreaction? Maybe, but this sort of thing happens at almost every show — overzealous little men hiding crap that we have already seen.
Yeah, it’s a watch with a phone in it.

I may or may not want that totally blurry phone watch that will never be sold to me now.

Yeah, I usally bring to all the stuff I want to hide to the biggest trade show in the world. I’d also show an incredibly cool gadget that I have no intention selling. Douches is being too kind.

It’s a concept, so it will probably never exist.

Okay John, I have an idea from two of your posts.
To commemorate the epitome of - paraphrasing here - the best ‘WTF of CES’, we create a very special award, this year presented to (and forever dedicated to) the LG booth crew for their efforts to hide from the CrunchGear cameras the previously documented watch concept: the 1st Annual CrunchGear CES ‘LG Meatball Award’.
Poor little LG meatball, rolled across the floor, then just sat there . . . .
Too harsh?
