		<description>I think this is a quality issue.  Ex. A friend purchased a 32' Viewsonic from Costco strictly because of price.  He also has a 32' Bravia LCD..  side by side they just aren't comparable.  The Sony is simply better and IMHO worth the price tag that was more than 2x the Viewsonic.

Until someone benchmarks the cheaper unknown brands with the flagship products from Panasonic, Sony etc., and they can prove themselves equal or close in terms of picture quality I would stick with branded products.
