Hey pal, have you ever heard of pubs with smoking and non-smoking areas? That are quite common in civilised world. I don’t know if this definition matches Queens, NY, though. I’m gonna have a smoke and think about it.

I didn’t complain much when my town outlawed smoking in restaurants. But then bars? BARS? I don’t know about other cities in the country but our officials claimed that revenues would increase for those establishments after the ban…not only have they not increased but patrons have dropped off dramatically. All they did was drive smokers to go to nearby towns without ridiculous bans on smoking in adult establishments, while all the “would-be patrons who stay away b/c of the smoking” never came.

I agree - we should ban everything unhealthy. Food over a specific number of calories or saturated fats should also be banned, as well as unprotected sex between untested partners. Then we should ban alcohol for its effect on human livers and non-stick pans because they are possibly carcinogenic at 500 degrees. Ban, ban, ban. Hooray for paternalism! Let’s all have the government keep us safe with legislation so that we don’t have to take responsibility for our decisions. Prohibitions work! Write to your congressman and demand mandatory exercise and yoga for all!

I couldn’t agree more with you I can’t stand the smell Smoke! Being a person that doesn’t smoke I shoudln’t have to smell or breath it in from others that do. Have you ever walked into a major office building or mall you pretty much have to walk through a solid wall of smoke getting all choked up and smelling like crap. I am from Canada which has banned smoking in all buildings including all clubs, sportsbars, etc. But even with that there is still walking by every building.

You should start a poll online to see how many other ppl agree with us and im sure the numbers will be amazing.
