I don't think it'll be pulled here any time soon so you should be safe. Sony would likely announce it, too. This particular post only affects Japan and the UK, not the US. So you're telling me Sony is going to stop offering PS3's with built in Wi-Fi,memory card readers , and backwards compability? This seems silly, I've been holding out on buying a PS3 but if they do this in the states i will run out and buy a 80GB ASAP. Even if I have to put it on the credit card.
