Apparently I should be speaking with friends back in Oregon more often. I always knew my friends or their parents worked at Intel, but haven’t thought about ever asking them which groups they work in. Yeah, I know, it’s pretty lame of me. So I did some poking and prodding and promised some things I probably shouldn’t have to get this info, but I think it’s worth it in the end.
I obviously can’t reveal my source, but I can tell you that He/She/It was directly involved with Apple on the Intel-based Macs. He/She/It didn’t give me much dirt unfortunately, but He/She/It did confirm without a doubt that sub-notebooks will be announced at Macworld.
I heard they were going to announce the apple phone (maybe called the IPhone).
I guess it has a touch screen and its an Ipod too.

ahhh of course they will – I still want a “fresh” Pro book to go along side my new Mac Pro….
I wish I could have gone to Macworld.
