		<description>We had a Drobo and Drobo share for a few months now, we had 1.3TB of data on the 4-1TB drives installed (2.6TB available). One night , for no apparent reason it decided to double the amount of used space all by itself to 2.6TB. It now reads full, top drive is RED and we can&#039;t access it. Drobo has sent a new Drobo share, y cord and now a new Drobo but the problem still exists. Now that they are available we can get a 1.5TB drive and swapout the 1tb on the top.....but It doesn&#039;t explain why the Drobo doubled it load overnight in the first place. Its also a $350 investment and may not fix anything.  
Level 4 support is working with us but seems a little confused about the problem.</description>

It configures itself on the fly. With all other devices there is more wasted space, and the user has to fight reconfigs, etc.</description>

		<description>There is just one small problem, that $200 is just for the USB to ethernet converter. To get the drobo to work as a NAS you are looking at around $700 and thats whithout any drives. At that price they are competing with much higher quality products with a known history in the NAS market.</description>
