Watch and learn, people. Obviously there are other ways for this to happen, but this should give you a general overview of how it works. There are some counter measures, but nothing is fool proof. Tread lightly is what comes to mind when doing anything that’s deemed to be an act of piracy.

nothing, bit torrent lists all the peer ip addresses and that is how they track you. What a revelation.

whats to block? They get your IP, so what, that’s useless unless you have a static IP. most leechers have dynamic IP from their ISP.
so unless they serve a warrant to your ISP to release your personal info., having an IP is irrelevant.
video was boring…you get the same results by typing netstat in dos
